About Dr. Jackson

As a South Bend native, I love nothing more than helping my local community. I attended Indiana University-Bloomington and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2009. I went on to complete a Doctoral Degree in Counseling Psychology at Ball State University in 2015. In service of my country, I spent four years in the Active Duty Air Force as a psychologist from 2014-2018 and have continued to proudly serve my country as a psychologist in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard since 2018. During my time in Active Duty, I completed my residency at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio from 2014-2015 before serving as a faculty member of the clinical psychology residency program at Wilford Hall at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas from 2015-2018. By transitioning to the Air National Guard in 2018, I was able to return home to address the mental health needs of my local community. My clinical training has allowed me to specialize in psychological testing and assessment.

In my personal life, I have a wonderful wife and am a proud cat dad. I enjoy long distance running and have a goal to run a half or full marathon in every state.

My life philosophy is about optimizing our physical and mental health to live the best life we can. At THRIVE, I am here for you. We can get by in our day to day, but I believe life is more than that and it's about thriving.
